PROMENADE TERRACE

Transforming an existing building with one dominant room and several smaller spaces can be a challenge, especially when the goal is to avoid adding walls or making significant structural changes. In this case, the dated shell was reimagined by relocating doors and windows, cladding the structural beams, and eliminating features that would be too costly to update.

A key element of the design was the creation of a focal point—a custom-designed and fabricated seating "ring" by A.P.T.—which served as both a design anchor and a highly functional feature for users, seamlessly tying together the space and enhancing its usability.
