We were thrilled when we were contracted for Continuum, A.P.T.'s first new construction high-rise! Located near the transportation hub in West Plains, NY, Continuum was a two-phase project. Phase 1 consisted of a low-rise structure with the main entry lobby, amenities, and a roof-deck pool, along with an adjoining high-rise tower. Phase 2 added a second tower connected to the same lobby. Due to the phased approach, decisions made for the first tower had to account for the future expansion of the second. For example, the mailroom was designed to accommodate the mailboxes for one tower but needed to be expandable for twice the size later.

The project had to cater to a broad demographic, from the typical 25-35 age group (pre-homebuyers) to retirees looking to downsize. To meet these diverse needs, we blended traditional East Coast elements with contemporary design, creating a style that appealed to all.
