CENZA

A strong biophilic theme throughout the property harks back to the agrarian roots of the city. Placentia has experienced very little development over recent decades, so Cenza is one of only a handful of new developments in the community. As such, the goal was to create a contemporary, yet timeless style.

A combination of soft greens and biophilic decor combine with a huge curving wall that slices through the amenity spaces and (thanks to TCA Architects) even slices through an exterior wall. The interior spaces had to include a City -required co-work space and, in-keeping with the rest of the theme, A.P.T. design, built and installed some greenhouse structures that serve as mini-meeting rooms. Even one of A.P.T.'s model designs included a horticultural theme and the pool area, although tight, uses the soft greens in the furniture fabrics and finishes to create a calming sanctuary.
